In 2011, Shawn and Breshae crossed paths at a good friend’s birthday trip to Baton Rouge. Little did they know that this celebration would lead to many more! Breshae was a high school senior when the couple met and their “high school sweetheart” love has grown ever since! Over the years, they have gone on countless dates, grew into adult hood, started careers and now, after almost 9 years later, they are preparing to say “I do”!

Shawn knew Breshae was his forever and decided that on August 23, 2018 he would ask her to marry him. To make this a birthday she would never forget he hired a photographer, invited their loved ones, and requested that everyone dress in white. Once the couple arrived to Jackson Square after dinner, Shawn had Breshae blindfolded (thinking she was getting a new car), but instead she was welcomed with all of her family and friends singing happy birthday, and when she turned around Shawn was down on one knee read to pop the question.

Shawn and Breshae are eager to start the next chapter of their lives together and are looking forward to sharing this celebration with you in November!
